I have an insatiable desire to figure out how things work. I am constantly pulling things apart, making discoveries and putting things back together. Doing this satisfies my curiosity and ultimately informs my creative practices. As an artist, I feel it’s my duty to ask the hard questions and seed the mysteries of life. Working with diverse media and technique (both centuries old materials and the most modern of technologies), my current body of sculpture blurs the line between the technological and the biological. This body of work is both conceptual and interactive. It relies heavily on technologies to enhance the aesthetic and push beyond the static.
